Reviewed some previous posts on this topic but have an additional question.
I have an 06 LD. What are the problem components? If they have common problems do you know what it is likely to cost to repair?

Since I am the second owner I know I don't have the coach warranty.
However, I do have the majority of the chassis warranty left. Also the previous owner purchased extended warranties on the refer, AC and microwave all made by Dometic. He transfered them to me.

That would seem to leave the furnace, converter, generator and oven with no coverage.

Jim

There really are no major problem components other than, maybe, the water pump. Sure any and all of the parts that make up your LD can have problems but nothing that happens to a large percentage of LDs.
LD has done a decent job of picking quality parts.
The Ford chassis is well tested and is not known to have major defects.

One thing that does happen to many LDs is windshield breakage from thrown stones but that certainly is not a quality issue.
There is not much you can do to avoid this issue except not driving.

Do your maintenance and keep an eye on things and you should be OK.
I would not make of point of looking for "problems".
Do remember that an RV is similar to a house and that things do go out of adjustment or get broken. To think that you can avoid all problems or be prepared for any eventually is pure fantasy.
Any and all RVs will have problems at some point.

Relax and enjoy your LD!
