Crosswind instability January 22, 2008, 06:38:18 pm Yahoo Message Number: 88722Hi Chris. My '99 TKB on a E350 chassis has the Montclair city designation. It also seems very secure in passing 'big rig' situations. I only have 26K miles on it, I just have the original OEM shocks still. First thing to do is weigh your rig. It sounds to me like too much weight behind the rear axle. I try to put heavy items in the storage bins towards the front. My 300 pounds of Kwikee levelers push both my front and rear axles near the max, I've weighed it twice fully loaded. I have the XPS rib Michelins and run 75 psi in the rear and 65 psi front. Since they are load range 'E' they aren't very stressed at 11,400 pounds total. I don't remember there being anti-sway bars front or back on the E350. (I'll go look) Ron and Bluebelle in dry(for now) San Diego.Start the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape. http://body.aol.com/fitness/winter-exercise?NCID=aolcmp00300000002489[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
