Ted H. and I have already done a similar thing by mounting USB WiFI adaptors on our TV antennas. Use a long USB extension cord to go from the adaptor, down into the coach, to your laptop.
Having the adaptor mounted high and outside of the coach will provide a much stronger signal than what the WiFI card in your laptop can while it's sitting inside your LD.

 Ted and I looking for a reasonably priced directional USB WiFi that is small enough to fit on the antenna. Since the TV antenna rotates, it would be possible to aim the WiFi adaptor for the strongest possible signal.
