Out of California registration December 04, 2007, 03:59:51 pm Yahoo Message Number: 86740There is an ongoing discussion about the temp. CA tag, out of CA delivery, returning to CA, etc. I don't know about your state, but in Florida you can register a vehicle that is not physically present in the State. All you need is the Certificate of Origin, the Bill of Sale, Proof of Insurance and lots of $$$. You could then take the tag and registration to CA and put it on the LD. Now it's a legal FL registered vehicle. You still must do the ICC driver thing however. What a waste of $400 that is. GRR!!! If you are not from CA. you might want to call your local Dept. of Motor Vehicles to see what the requirements are.Ed
