If you mean the LD website, you will have to pick up the phone and call them or send an e-mail. Both the e-mail address and phone number are on the site.
I doubt the '08s are even orderable yet, LD runs several months behind the chassis year.  I think they were still shipping '06 models until May '07, although with a new chassis for 08, they not be that far behind this year.

I was by there last week, and they did have at least one chassis, still in plastic wrap, sitting on their lot.

Here are the 2008 prices 24' plans $72,750 27' plans $79,250 31' plans $88,000

This is for the new 2008 Ford chassis , not a leftover 2007.

He should still call for the official word (if it exists).  Until it is published by LD on their own web site, it is just an Internet rumor.  There is no official data provided here.

I have in front of me as we speak, the official 2008 LD order form, price list, option price list, etc. Spoke to Steve last week.
The figures I reported are 100% accurate as of last week.

Also, in addition to receiving the 2008 price list, I asked about option pricing and the reply from the Mother Ship was, "The options and pricing remain essentially the same as last year except the 15,000BTU A.C. will be standard on all 27' models. This will actually help streamline production by eliminating an option."  Additional questions I asked included:  Do you offer your previous year showroom models for sale?  Any discount on these?  Are there any leftover '07s? To which they replied, "We sell the showroom models at the end of each year.  We recently started selling them.  They are being sold at the '07 price and any options they have will be included in the price.
They all have solar as well as some other options on some of the models.  We currently have only one '07 158" chassis (23.5' coach) left to sell outside of the floor models."  For further information, just give them a call.

I emailed the mothership last week asking when I may order a new 27'

reply was "we are taking orders now"
I was at the Mothership last week and ordered a 2008 Mid-Bath.  The price on all three model sizes is $3000.00 more.  Most of the options were same price as 2007.  They had one or two 2008 chassis at the time.  One is now mine.  The question about the 13.5k btu and the 15k btu a/c is probably that it cools a bit better in the hotter climes.  It is now standard on the 27 and 30 ft models.  Hope this helps.

Thanks for posting the prices, Ed! One item puzzles me, though:

"V-10 engine in the 24' models:$1,050"
Since all LDs, including the 23.5' ones, built from 1997 onward have had V10s, does this mean the smaller LDs now have a V8 as the standard engine?
If so, that's a serious issue for anyone contemplating a new 24' LD.
It would mean that the price of a 24' coach comparable to last year's 23.5' model (i.e, with V10) has effectively gone up by $4,000, not $3,000. Or am I misunderstanding?

Andy; Here is what the Option Sheet says: "Ford 6.8L V-10 engine available on 24' models. (Standard on 27' and 31' models)"
In addition, the Spec. sheet also shows the V-10 as an option on the 24' so your conclusion must be correct. The V-8 is now the base engine on the 24' models.

Since weight ratings are determined, in part, by engine, are the weight ratings for the 24' less with the V-8 engine than they are with the V-10 engine?

I guess I answered my own question.  According to this site, https://www.fleet.ford.com/Showroom/specialty_vehicles/Parcel_delivery_stripped-specs.asp or http://tinyurl.com/2s2uzl , the GVWR of the E-450 with the V-8 engine is 14,050#.  Didn't someone say that the new 2008 E-450 chassis with the V-10 engine has a higher GVWR...something like 14,500#?

From Car & Driver magazine: http://tinyurl.com/ys7pzm

"...the E-450 now comes standard with a 255-hp, 5.4-liter V-8. A 305-hp, 6.8-liter V-10 is optional."
The 265 hp, 6.8 liter V-10 on my '99 TK is plenty for 11.5k GWVR. I'm not sure how the 255 hp engine would work with 14k GWVR.

Here is what the Coach Specifications says about the 24' model: "G.V.W.R. 14,050#"  with the following "NOTE: 24' models equipped with the optional V-10 engine will be 14,500#" The 14,500# is the same as the 27' and 31' models.

I notice there seem to be quite a few people selling their LD and buying the 2008 model.  Since we're not in a position to check them out, could anyone tell me if there is noticeably more passenger leg room because of the increased length?  Any other noticeable features unique to the 2008?

according to Todd at LD...  the new length( 1/2 foot) is because of the new front end....  the other main item of not is the added ccc...

As always, differences from year to year can be found in "LD models over the years", located in the "Lazy Daze Information" folder of this website's Files area (see "Files" text link at left of every page).

According to that document, there's an additional three inches of footroom in the 2008 midbath, and possibly in other models as well.
But if this is a critical factor in your choice, you should call the LD factory and ask them about the models you're considering.

If you are expecting the extra driver seat legroom, by all means check with the factory.  I think the "changes" file is referring to the 2000 layout when the driver's side was moved back.

We, too, ordered a 2008 rig on December 12, and I sat

I can't think of a thing that would make me *choose* to drive in snow, but these tire socks might come in pretty handy if one were stuck as you were!

Congratulations on the new rig-to-be!
