Converter/Charger

Two questions for the electrical types, please.
1) What would be a good quality converter/charger?
2) Is replacing the existing unit on my 2000 MB a do-it-yourself
 project for a reasonably competent person? Or best left to someone who really knows what they're doing?

You can decide for yourself if you have the skills to DIY.  The 4th one down is very good.

Thank you, Andrew. It doesn't look all that intimidating. As long as I don't see a puff of smoke when I energize the new converter, I suppose all went well. :-)
