A wonderful first trip.
Yahoo Message Number: 66745
After purchasing our "Little Darling" in February from Bob and Eloise, we were able to make our first 3 day weekend run to "officially" camp this past weekend.

We had a wonderful time.  Hubby and youngest son had gone for one day last month to do a practice run down to the Grand Casino campground (independendly owned and away from the casino)....so we returned there this weekend for me to get my feet wet.

We did not tow a car.  I actually remembered to pack everything to eat.   We arrived and plugged in.  Quickly and perfectly.  We did not even need to level up!!  The campground has full hookups and cable, a beautiful pool with covered veranda and ceiling fans, so you can watch the kids swim in comfort.  Free coffee in the lounge and Wifi connections.  The casino runs a shuttle every 20 minutes or so and we rode it over to eat the first night we were there.  Hubby and oldest son rode it to the hotel to swim in the indoor pool on Saturday (still to cold for outdoors) and then rode the shuttle to the Kids Quest arcade (also on the casino grounds).  They also have golf, a spa and skeet shooting.   We were going to go back to one of the restaurants Saturday night, but I came down with a cold...so we stayed in our wonderful coach and watched the Nascar race.

One funny story:  A man was walking his dog and I happen to see him walking down the road several rows over.  He saw the LD and directed his dog across several rows to us.  He walked all the way around it and you could tell he was really checking it out.  Then he went on.
A little while later,  hubby went outside to put up the chairs and this gentleman appeared (dog still in tow) .... like he was waiting for someone to come out of the RV.  He asked hubby a hundred questions.  The gentleman said at first he wondered if someone had restored an older coach and put it on a newer chassis...because the style was so unique.  He had never seen any Class C like this before.
Of course, hubby gave him the info and the website.

We had a great time.  We called Bob and Eloise to let them know how much fun we were having.  Bob was so sweet.  He wanted to make sure everything was working as promised and of course it was working perfectly.
We are back home now....have cleaned it up and it is under the cover.
We head out for a longer trip in June for a 10 days.  We can't wait.
