 I've had AOL since around 1996, have put in on every single computer I've ever had since that time, and have never had a problem with it, or with it doing anything to any of my computers.
 While I don't use AOL anymore, I still keep a subscription to it at their lowest monthly price ($6 for 3 hours) because that's where my original website is set up.  Since I have several year's worth of travels on it that I'd have to redo if I placed it somewhere else, I'll keep AOL for the foreseeable future.
