When to sell our 99' 26.5 MB? April 30, 2006, 04:58:18 pm Yahoo Message Number: 66104We have ordered our 2006 LD almost a month ago. Steve said we might have it before the Golden Caravan. (we sure are hoping) We are getting worried about the gas prices going up. We were planning on calling the end of June and if our new LD is going to be done for the Golden Caravan, then we were going to put it up for sale. Do you think it will be more difficult to sell our rig later this summer if the price of gas continue to go up, as they are predicted to do?

Rosa,No I don't. Sales have not dropped off, but actually are increasing and not only to baby boomers but younger buyers. Sales are also predicted to remain quite strong despite high fuel prices.Good luck,Paul NE 50

If I were going to take delivery of a new coach within a couple of months, I would put the old coach on the market as soon as possible, hoping that it would sell before the new one was delivered. The coach *could* sell immediately (and you'd be without an RV until the new one arrived), but with the current eye-popping fuel prices and the likelihood of their staying high (and probably increasing), it could also take a while to find a buyer.Joan
When to sell our 99' 26.5 MB? Reply #4 – April 30, 2006, 05:54:31 pm Yahoo Message Number: 66112Hi Rosa, I heard prices for fuel are suppose to start falling after the Memorial Day holiday. Despite all the "doom and gloom" in the world now, the way I am approaching this is that life is too short to be holding back now. What you need to do is to take fewer trips and stay put in one place longer in order to amortize the price. Regards,Rubin in San Diego

If we didn't want to go to the Gold Caravan so badly we would sell it now. But hate to be without an RV and not be able to attend. [Life With A Lazy Daze RV] Re: When to sell our 99' 26.5 MB? Reply #7 – May 01, 2006, 11:30:43 am Yahoo Message Number: 66175QuoteSally and Bob, We love our 1999 Lazy Daze and have owned it for 3 years now. We are going to be selling it because we have ordered a new 2006 Lazy Daze. My 40 year old son sold RV's in Santa Rosa for years and thinks the Lazy Daze is built the best he has ever seen. We have around 40,000 miles and it is just the best. We have more time to travel now that we are retired and find that we are staying on the road longer and longer. We ordered the 30 ft Lazy Daze for more road for the longer trips.Quotehello this is Sally and Bob in Florida. we are looking to buy a 26 LD. Are you unhappy with the rig. We are first timers. What made you go for a LD instead of others like a Born Free?Quote saltwatersal@...rosagypsy1313 wrote: Yes, Joanne I meant the end of May.
