Fender skirts-paint March 31, 2006, 02:09:41 pm Yahoo Message Number: 64835The fender skirts have a hard, black plastic piece of trim attached to the edge. While doing the annual torquing the lug nut thing, I noticed that where the plastic trim makes contact with the siding when the skirts are secured, the paint had been completly rubbed off to the point when the aluminium was exposed. Applied touchup paint but have not come up with a good way to prevent this from reoccuring. If you have dealt with this and have a good fix, I'd appreciate knowing about it. Thank you:Ed

Well maybe it's just me, but I take this as occasion to cherish aluminum. If it were fiberglass, sun damage would be a problem; if steel, it has its worries too. I'm getting used to the effects of age on skin, and the coach has some too ;-)John
