Temporary Tow Bar/Hitch for my LD and Saturn?

Hi, I have a 1995 LD and will be moving from CA to Grants Pass, OR in the near future.  My delima is, can I rent a tow bar/hitch or do I need to buy one and have it installed?  Which Hitch/tow bar would you recommend?

 You will undoubtedly have to buy a hitch and have it installed, but you could rent a car trailer/dolly from U-haul as a one time solution, until you have more time to pick out your towbar setup.
