no more weekly "LD for Sale" posts September 04, 2005, 04:23:11 pm Yahoo Message Number: 57681Time constraints no longer permit me to assemble the weekly "LD for Sale" reports. Listed below are the sites and search techniques that have proven useful in my preparation of these reports.Good luck in your search for the perfect used LD!--oryokiThere are many online resources to help buyers and sellers of Lazy Daze RVs. The first, and best, resource is the list of "All LDs for Sale" in the Files section of the "LifewithaLazyDazeRV" group on Yahoo.Point your web browser to http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/lifewithalazydazerv/ Log in using your Yahoo username and password, and click on the "Files" link on the left. There are hundreds of commercial web sites that sell RVs. The largest, and best for LD searchers, is RV Trader Online www.rvtraderonline.comA search tip: Enter your search term "Lazy Daze" in the "Keyword" field when possible. This will frequently find more coaches for sale than if you search using other fields. Searching in this way at RV Trader Online usually finds 15 or more LDs for sale.A second site that is always productive is The Recycler, a Los Angeles-based weekly publication. www.recycler.com The Recycler primarily lists less expensive LDs from the 1980's, and usually includes three to five LD coaches.A big advantage of RV Trader Online and the Recycler is that each coach for sale shows the date when it was listed. The next five web sites sometimes produce new LD-for- sale ads. They are worth checking regularly. RV Photo Classifieds www.rvphotoclassifieds.com RV Online www.rvonline.com Motorhome Hunter www.rvhunter.com RV Trader www.rvtrader.com RV Search www.rvsearch.comMotorhome Hunter shows the date the ad was posted. The others do not. So at first you will waste time inquring about coaches that were sold months ago. Once you become familiar with the listings, you will notice when a new coach appears. The final nine web sites produce LD-for-sale ads only occasionally. You may not see a new LD ad here for weeks. Calling All Cars www.cacars.com Escapees Forum escapees.infopop.cc Motorhomes On Sale motorhomesonsale.com RV Coach www.rv-coach.com RV Registry www.rvregistry.com RV Sellers Online www.rvsellersonline.com RV Classified www. RVClassified.com RV Net Lynx www.rvnetlinx.com Wheel By Net www.wheelbynet.comThere are dozens of additional web sites that list used RVs for sale, but none has proven as useful as those listed above.Auctions at eBay Motors infrequently include Lazy Daze RVs. Buying an RV sight unseen is a risky proposition. Be sure to require an inspection by an RV professional before you complete the transaction. motors.ebay.comThe classified ad sections of many newspapers are online now, and a search can be productive. The Lazy Daze factory is in southern California, and most LDs were sold to people living there. So concentrate your search efforts in the West.Southern California newspapers Los Angeles www.latimes.com Orange Co classified.ocregister.com San Diego classifieds.signonsandiego.com Riverside www.pe.com Bakersfield www.bakersfield.com Palm Springs www.desertsunclassifieds.comNorthern California newspapers Sacramento www.sacbee.com San Francisco www.sfgate.com San Jose classifieds.mercurynews.comNewspapers serving other western states Phoenix www.azcentral.com Tucson classified.tucson.com Eugene register.abracat.com Portland www.oregonlive.com Las Vegas www.lasvegasnewspapers.com Denver postnewsclassified.abracat.com Seattle classifieds.nwsource.comTake advantage of your web browser's ability to save links to these web sites in your Bookmarks file. Once you have assembled a list of bookmarks, you can search all the sources listed above in less than an hour.Be patient in your search for a used LD. It may take many weeks of searching to find an LD coach configured the way you want.

You listed one in our area that we never saw adverised anywhere else in papers or on the 'net and thus we became the third owner of our '97 MB. Without your postings, we'd probably still be wannabe's! Mary Tribbett

Thank you (and kudos to you!) for the gift of all of your time, energy, and diligence spent in putting the lists together every week; I know your lists have brought many an LD and "wannabe" together.Joan

We are among the many beneficiaries of your effort. The folks from whom we bought our new-to-us 30'IB were not even aware that they were on your list. It is doubtful that we would have found her without your help.Greg and Karen - Finger Lakes "Fiona, the Irish Rambler"

Sad to see it go but to a good home. -Dorothyoryoki2000 wrote:QuoteTime constraints no longer permit me to assemble the weekly "LD for Sale" reports.
