Lp sensor help August 19, 2005, 05:46:24 pm Yahoo Message Number: 57028Hi everyone,My LP sensor, located under the kitchen counter on a '97 MB 26 1/2, beeps and indicates low voltage. I checked for any lp gas leaks and found none. Is it hard wired to the house batteries or does it have a battery pack of itself and if so, where is it located?I start the rig and the batteries jump to show full charge after a couple of minutes. My rig is connected to the residence and has solar panels, although it is covered. My battery indicators on the panel and charge reader range from low to fully charged.Since there are no gas leaks and the batteries jump to full charge after a couple of minutes of running the motor, I figure it's not a big thing (as long as I keep the batteries charged). Or am I burying my head in the sand?Any suggestions are appreciate it.Thanks in advance, Jerry

However, these detectors have been known to go bad with age and give false alarms. Mine did, so I replaced it. It's just a two-wire hookup, so that was easy to do. No more problems since I put in the new one. :-) About your batteries: are they the original 1997 batteries? If so, based on what you said, I suspect they may be on their last legs. I'd give them a careful checkup, as Steve (aq433) detailed in a recent message.Andy Baird
