I am looking for a 23foot LD, a late 70's or early 80's model, prefer either Ford of Chevy. It would be easier to find a nice vehicle on the west coast of either Canada or the US, since I live in Vancouver, BC.
Please e-mail me.
Thanks.

The early 1980s LDs were built on Dodge chassis...I hope this would be acceptable...

Our '83 is a Chevy, and I believe that is true in '82 as well. The Ford was not available until the 26.5' models came out, and not in the small chassis until the '90's, I believe.

I stopped by the mothership in May.  In the office they have photos of LDs with Dodge chassis starting in 1966, Ford starting in 1968, and Chevy starting in 1971.

Watching the market for used 22/23 foot LDs, I see mostly Dodge chassis until 1982, then mostly Chevy chassis until 1988, then a combination of Chevy and Ford until 1995, and exclusively Ford thereafter.

I meant REALLY EARLY 1980s...as in, um, 1980. :-)
We had one, and I had thought that Dodge was the chassis for at least a couple of years after that (and before that), but I must have been mistaken.
