Screen Savers (Slightly OT) August 03, 2005, 05:31:35 am Yahoo Message Number: 56407This is slightly off topic, but I think interesting if anyone doesn't know about it because LD people go to so many interesting places (and hopefuly take beautiful pictures).I had it recently pointed out to me that Windows XP has a built-in slide show screen saver. You just go to Control Panel, Display, Screen Saver, and choose 'My Pictures Slideshow' as the screen saver. It randomly picks pictures out of the 'My Pictures' directory and subdirectories, changing every 10 seconds or so. (Time and effects can be set) Probably like others, we have had lots of digital pictures stored on our computers, but seldom looked at them. Since they now come up as a screen saver slide show, we have enjoyed looking at all the interesting places we've been much more.Martha also later found a screen saver slide show for free on the internet for W98 on her older desk machine. If you didn't know about this like us, or haven't tried it, I can recommend it for all your LD travel pictures.Barry 01 r rb tx at

It's great, and we'll be adding pictures to the slide show as we travel.Peggy & Terry 1992 23.5 Red LD TK 'Daze of Whine & Rozes' North Hills, CA
