Hello everyone ..and hope all is well..Okay here goes We went to see this beautifully maintained 30' lazydaze ..a couple of concerns we have,  one there are two twin beds in the read of the motorhome, can this be changed with out to much difficulty to one full size bed, second concern the area above the driver and passage seating has cabinets and tv(small 13" screen) vcr player, cb, a 10 disk player.
We would much rather have sleepping accomodations so we can have son, daughter-law, grandson and grand daughter for some of our adventures is this something that can be changed to sleep our loved ones, Also roughly how much does a leveling device cost ...seems the person is fairly firm about his price of 32,000 and it's a 94 according to the guide on this site .the vehicle should be selling for around 26,000 ..the vehicle has 83.000 ..but has been well loved and all bills and records are avalible ..thanks so much to all ...

Others can say for certain, but as I read the floorplan, it doesn't appear this can be done.

Personally, I agree with you. Unfortunately, Lazy Daze doesn't offer an overcab bed as an option on any 30' model. I don't see how you're going to sleep six people in a 30' LD, unless the grandkids sleep outside in a tent.
You may be better served with a 26.5' midbath model. In this setup you two could sleep in the rear bed--the couches can can be made up either as two twin beds or as a single king bed--while your son and daughter-in-law could sleep in the overcab queen bed and the grandkids on the dinette (which can be made up as a bed for two). As recent messages from family travelers have indicated, the 26.56' midbath is ideal for families.

Hi, Indiana,
There is a wealth of information on various Lazy Daze models, how to inspect used LDs, and how to determine fair prices in the Files folder at the left side of the web page. Check in the "Frequently Asked Questions" file.  Also check the Database folder, also in the box on the left side of the web page, for more information.  The home page has links for a searchable archive of vast amounts of information, as well.
We have a '02 30'TB model Lazy Daze.  A short answer to your questions is: No.  There is no way to remove the twin beds (although you might be able to create a bed platform over the existing twin bases) or remove the entertainment center to put a bed in the cabover.  There are a number of reasons, weight being the first that comes to mind, that would make it ill-advised.  Perhaps a different model would work better for you.  Good luck!

Hello Indiana, My wife and I have a new 30' Twin Bed Lazy Daze Motorhome.  It is perfect for us but we do not travel with others.  It sounds to me like the thirty footer is the wrong LD for your needs.  The twin beds cannot be conveniently converted to a king.  The fresh water tank lies under one of them.  The entertainment center was built into the coach instead of overhead sleeping accomodations because of weight considerations.  The thirty footer has a very limited cargo carrying capacity.  That fits our life style easily but it sounds like it will not fit yours.  Leveling devices cost from $2500 up but are weighty and will eat into your cargo carrying capacity still more.

You have already received some excellent advice from other members of this forum.  Their suggestions are good ones to heed.

There are other LD models that will probably fit your requirements much better than this one.  I suggest you get the factory literature and study it.  And, keep looking at more LD models. One of the benefits of a Class C Motorhome is the flexible accomodations that are available as compared to a Class A unit.  But this thirty footer lacks the flexibility you appear to need.

Best wishes, Nate Walker Tacoma
