Adjusting outside mirrors

F.Y.I.  An interesting note from the AAA Going Places magazine on the right, per the article, way to adjust your two outside mirrors.
Not the bottom convex part, just the large flat part at the top.
"There's a technique for adjusting your car's outside mirrors to reduce blind spots & the glare from other vehicles headlights. Sit in the driver's seat, lean to your left, and tilt your head until it touches the side window. Then adjust the mirror so it reflects the rear fender. Now lean to the right and tilt your head into the center of the vehicle, and adjust the passenger-side mirror so it reflects the right fender. Now sit back in the driving position, you'll find your blind spots are reduced, the bright areas of passing cars do not reflect into your eyes, and you can more easily see vehicles to the back & sides" Tried it on a recent trip. Worked well for me.
As always, your mileage may vary.
