Yuma Imperial Dam Area January 07, 2005, 11:55:38 am Yahoo Message Number: 48882Chris, We had planned to stay at the Hidden Shores RV Resort near the Imperial Dam North of Yuma, AZ. but upon checking in - at what seemed like a nice park - we were shocked at the $50.00 a night charge. The 2003 Woodall directory had listed the price to be between $24-$30 and of the 567 sites, they seemed only about 1/3 full. Anyway, too much for my frugal nature! ( I know, I know . . . if I hadn't been so cheap as to have an outdated campground directory . . . but that's just me - and besides, the new 2005 weren't in stock at Camping World yet ) So we left and proceeded to some BLM land less than a half mile away and joined a group of five others to enjoy a priceless sunset over the Colorado River.
