LD sighting in Quartzsite January 03, 2005, 04:45:28 pm Yahoo Message Number: 48617This afternoon, on my way back from the Post Office, I saw a brown 26.5' MB just pulling out onto Main Street near Plymouth Avenue. They headed west on Main Street and made a left-hand turn onto US-95. They were towing a Jeep; the LD passenger's door had an American flag and one of those yellow "Support our Troops" ribbons, and the Jeep also had an American flag. The upper left-hand corner of the back had "2783" on it, which I assume is the LD Caravan number, and an FMCA oval plaque with the numbers 351620. Arizona license plates.Anyone here?Linda & Earl 2004 23.5' Red TK From Quartzsite, AZ[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

I don't know whether they monitor this group, or not. We met them at the Livingston, TX Escapees' Rainbow Oaks Park this summer. Our brown LDs were parked side by side there. :^)Sharon N.

I wish I could have followed them a bit more to find out if they were parking someplace here in Quartzsite or on their way to Yuma, but I was on my way to the main Post Office to pick up a package. If I knew they were here in Q, and where, I'd locate them to say "hi!"Linda & Earl 2004 23.5' Red TK From Quartzsite, AZ

I have seen them in action! They are a friendly couple. Oh come on, Dave, we didn't chase that couple down -- they were parked along side the road! We did, however, turn around and go back once we spotted them, and I could see people walking around inside! Unfortunately, I can't remember their names, but they were driving a 26.5' MB which they'd picked up about a week after we did in July 2004. They are from California and were on their way to the Phoenix area to visit relatives, I believe. I asked them if they were members here, but they weren't aware of this site...and, of course, I didn't have the URL with me, so couldn't give it to them. You're missing all the fun here in, Q, Dave -- Tyson Wash is running with water -- LOTS of water -- from all the rain we've had the last couple of days!Linda & Earl 2004 23.5' Red TK From Quartzsite, AZ
