I assume your interest is when the Ford chassis (23.5') was used in preference to the Chevy (22'). In fact they were both available for several years in the late '80's, early '90's, so looking by year isn't a good method. In addition, a new floorplan 22' model was available on the Ford chassis fairly recently.Steve

I think the 22ft Chevy models was introduced in 1981, and continued into 1996. The 23ft Ford appeared in 1988, and continues today. Below are my notes about all Lazy Daze models through the years. I think it was somewhere in the range of '99 to '02, and it seems maybe it had a rear kitchen and small bath, with the forward section similar to a front lounge or dinette. It seemed to me you gave up a lot to save a couple of feet! Perhaps someone has some brochures from that period?Steve

Re: [Life With A Lazy Daze RV] Re: Lazy Daze Length Reply #8 – December 28, 2004, 01:55:42 pm Yahoo Message Number: 48406My understanding is the coach layout/length is the same. The extra length is in the cab engine section as the Ford front end is longer than a Chevy 'snub nose' front end. Marti in Seattle '87 Chevy rear lounge Ok, now we are getting somewhere, Oryoki where did they put the extra 1.5 feet on the Ford chassis lounge, kitchen or bath?Gene[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
