Thanks Robert.  I've four uncles who were dairy farmers in Wisconsin (the original Cheeseheads?) so have no quarrel with that.
I know the FairPlex is a common mention on this site but was leaning toward something more *country*.  This might be it?

 PS  Noticing your signature block.. we'll be staying in San Diego for a week (the Navy Amphib Base) just prior to our jaunt up to Pomona.

I think that this is the park about 10 miles south of the mothership.
It is near a dairy farm and some have complained of the cows, but I was once a dairy farmer and did not mind.  It is a big park, with a lake, baseball, socor, fishing, lots of stuff.
