Thank you for the time and effort in posting all that information. We decided to get the Garmin 2620 as a Christmas present for each other and have been playing with it for 2 days now. There is a learning curve, especially as this is our first, and it took quite a while to convince the unit that Home was in California, not the middle of Kansas! We ordered from the military exchange web site, which is currently offering free shipping. This made it cheaper than the Costco web site.
