Spent from noon until 4:30 on Friday with Ed Newton, President of LD and came back at 9:15a.m. Saturday until 4:30 with Tim Pease, Production Manager and Steve Newton, GM. I won't be long but I will be glad to answer any questions on our trip from logistics to showroom to factory tour to question after question to restaurants etc. We ordered Saturday, March 24 a 26.5'RB, Teal exterior with tan and plum interior colors. Some quickies: sofa in lieu of barrel chairs, bilstein shocks, solar panel, CD with upgraded sound system, 12v and jack added at dinette, wire to the antenna for a GPS, outside shower. Observations: When visiting factory, try to get the input from Ed, Steve, Tim(patience of Job)and Nancy. The composite is better than just the individual. These are really very professional people who are a cut above when it comes to quality(A+),sales hype(none) and customer orientation(we spent about 12 hours with these folks and they were great to us). We also met a great couple who own a LD and were visiting the showroom to buy some LD t-shirts. They visited with us for the longest time and you could see the pride and enthusiasm in LD(thanks again Joe & Lauretta). If I can help anyone, let me know and I'd be delighted to assist.
