looking for lazy daze March 20, 2001, 11:02:58 pm Yahoo Message Number: 2762Hello! My name is Kerstin. My husband and i are in the beginning stages of planning our 2002 RV trip and have decided on purchasing a Lazy Daze 26'Rear Twin/King as our home on wheels. We can only afford a used LD and are having trouble finding any in Texas! We live in Austin and are willing to travel to purchase one. 1) Is there anyone out there with a LD in Austin or surrounding area that would be kind enough to let us take a peek at their LD to get a better idea of layout, etc? 2) We will be ready to buy in 2 months- and i need help with the looking process. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!! Kerstin

It has the same rear lounge, minus the portable table (unless you find a rare coach where the original owner opted for an extra table to be placed in the lounge). On the 23 foot models, where there is no dinette, the table is always provided and the model is called the twin-king.Keep looking - Lazy Daze's are somewhat rare and seem to be bought immediately. Good luckGus Weber
looking for lazy daze Reply #2 – March 21, 2001, 08:59:01 am Yahoo Message Number: 2772Kerstin, We live in Katy just west of Houston, and recently bought a 1990 23" twin king. As Gus mentioned the floorplan is nearly identical to the 26 twin king with the exception of the 3 feet and dinette. I searched the net for a good 4months and as you hve no doubt already found, 90% of the units are in California. They go pretty quickly. I wound up committing over the phone with the understanding and trust that my downpayment would be returned if I didnt want the rig once i saw it. Lots of folks plan carefully and see half a dozen on a single trip to Calif, always ready to purchase on the spot. We love our rig, already put 5500 miles on it in less than 2months! of course this includes my driveback 1500 or so. We are out just about every weekend but will try to work something out with you if you want to see our 23' twin king. Your next best bet may be visiting the next South Central Lazy Daze caravan meeting which is April 19 weekend at the State Park in Woodbine{just east of Livingston in East Tex Piney woods. Ca'nt speak for others but I'd be happy to show you our rig then. There will be at least 8-10 L.D's of varying lengths and floor plans. Can't say when we will be heading towards the hill country next. Hope this helps.
