Notification of Serial # Reply #2 – March 15, 2001, 10:09:00 pm Yahoo Message Number: 2674Tom,The Select Comfort is not an LD option. I just deleted the LD mattress and they gave me a credit. Select Comfort Air Matresses are sold all over the country. They also have a webb site. www.selectcomfort.comLanny

They are quite supportive. During warm weather when my back acts up, I go out and sleep in the LD. So be sure and try them out (at the factory when ordering) before you delete them.Good luckGus Weber
Notification of Serial # Reply #4 – March 16, 2001, 09:13:23 am Yahoo Message Number: 2677Lanny, we plan on using a Select Comfort mattress when we order the 30' because we have one at home and really like it. Since you deleted the LD mattress, what would you do if you sold the LD later on? Would you share what your credit was for the deleted mattress? Which model and size of SCom. mattress will you be getting? We measured the mattress space when visiting the factory and found it to be about 1" short on either side of being able to contain the smaller queen SC mattress, but there is flexibility in the SC mattress, so we figured it would squeeze in. Comments on that? Did you take the barrel chairs or get a dinette?Chris

Notification of Serial # Reply #6 – March 17, 2001, 12:10:39 pm Yahoo Message Number: 2683Chris,We got the barrel chairs. The credit for the mattress was $154.50. I believe the regular queen size Select Comfort will be OK. 60" X 80". The LD size is listed as 57" X 78". Select Comfort has an RV queen which is a bit smaller than the LD. I would rather have a little overhang. The LD mattress was a bit to firm for me. Bad shoulders.Lanny
Notification of Serial # Reply #7 – March 17, 2001, 05:50:24 pm Yahoo Message Number: 2686Lanny - I've been following your LD purchase and I'm interested in your follow-up on the mattress substitution and whether a 60x80 fits on the 30'LD pedestal. Also whether you're content with the apparent dramatic reduction in carrying capacity of the 30'LD vs. the 26.5'IB unit. I'm 6'5 and skeptical about using a 76" bed for an extended time; also about the clipped corners of the 26.5 IB. The carrying capacity issue makes for a major dilemma. Geo.
