We're back and are now new MB owners
Yahoo Message Number: 2354
Just wanted everyone to know that our MB pick up and drive back to Dallas went smoothly last week. The motorhome is now tagged, inspected, and has a fresh oil change. I just need to sanitize the fresh water tank and check the torque on the lug nuts and we will be ready to go again. This club was a great help during the whole process. Reading the early posts helped us decide that for our use, going for living area over a dedicated bed was best for us.

We met our first lifewithalazydazerv club member on the road, but I'm sure it wasn't under circumstances that she wanted. She left some of her stuff at Lazy Daze, so we delivered her box to her at the Arizona border Flying J.

On the first night of the return trip, we overnighted at the Harrah's Indian Casino south of Phoenix. The place was recommended on the freecampgrounds.com website. If you are in that area and just need a place to park, I would second the recommendation. The RV area was quiet and not under bright lights. If you feel guilty about freeloading, they had machines inside with handles on the side where you could donate money.

A few initial comments: The pedestal table is a hit. I was afraid that it might end up staying in the closet, especially if it was a hassle to set up. It only takes a few seconds to set up and take down and I really like it. The heat strip also came in handy since we didn't have our ceramic heater with us. A minor design change from when we visited in June is the TV in the back. Instead of separate TV and VCR units running off of a 400 watt inverter you now have a DC TV/VCR combination unit with jacks in the front (yea!) I also think the TV is angled a little differently to favor viewing from the passenger side.

Take care all and thanks again.
