Why in the world would anyone want to change the oil after 1/2 hour of driving? This answer should really be interesting.....

The first 30 minutes of an engine life are the hardest. All the new moving parts must break in with each other and this can throw a lot of metal into the oil.
The oil also collects debris left from manufacturing and burnt oil Major engine manufacturers.
rebuilders and hi performance machine shops regularly recommend the 30 minutes oil change. The website I cited, was General Motors'recommendation for new factory builts engines.
Oil is cheap. If I picked up a new LD, I would get changed very soon. The rig will already have some mileage on it, and you can be sure no one drove it easily. You might consider using synthetic oils . The stress on MH engines is much higher than on our passinger cars, especially when traveling in the summer. Synthetics handle the heat very well.
In my LD, it almost doubled the miles per quart of oil burned on our summertime drives to Canada.
The engine is the most expensive single item in your motorhome. Be nice to it.
