Sandy--

Will your new 23-1/2 FL be on the E-450 or is LD still using the E-350 for the shorter rigs?

We really thought a 23-1/2 gave us all the interior room we'd need, but ended up buying the 26 1/2 for the extra carrying capacity of the heavier chassis.

Is the E-450 available in the short wheelbase used on the 23-1/2'? This would be a good combination.
I need more load capacity than what the E-350 offers. I would prefer a short rig so I can still park in normal parking lots, like I can in my 22'FL .

The 23 1/2 is still being built on the E-350. Ed says it's because the ride would be too rough if they used the heavier chassis for that size. I know what you mean, though. The usable payload is pretty tight.
Fortunately, that's not a huge issue with us. We'd rather have the smaller size which still seems gigantic to us--we're intimidated by anything bigger. (Many years ago we were happy to camp in a VW Westphalia, but we're a lot older now, so no way!) Sandy
