Finally did it! July 13, 2003, 08:05:47 pm Yahoo Message Number: 24445Well, after much looking around at used, then visiting the factory, and just getting ready to buy new, I finally found & bought a '99 26.5 Blue RB! She looks like new and handles great! Although my husband did not have the fever for an LD, he loves it too now. Will post some pictures soon, and love this site and all the informative posts, it's one more reason to buy an LD. Mari L (in very hot Vegas)

Finally did it! Reply #3 – July 14, 2003, 11:41:39 am Yahoo Message Number: 24463Hi Linda, I thought I was the only one who got up at 5 am. As you know, I have been looking at LD's and watching all the ads for about 5 mos, and even visited the factory, and I was almost thinking of mailing in an order for a new one. Then one morning I looked again at some newspapers online and there it was! I called right away and was told the ad had just come out, the woman sounded very nice and was the first owner (one of my criteria). The other things that were right is that it wasn't too old, nor too big, nor too much mileage, nor too high priced. It is very shiny and looks just like new, the owners said they were giving up rving, they were too old. It is a '99 26RB blue, 18.8 miles overhead bed, front sofa, 2 barrel chairs, dinette, bath in rear. Tv and video player built in catty corner on drivers side so it is best viewed from the barrel chairs and the overhead bed. The interior is brown with beige carpet. Blue would have been better, but I am putting blue accessories around. It did not have the solar panels that I wanted, but I will get some later. The price was $36k. Thank god I didn't buy a new one, I would have spent almost twice as much. I am just as happy with it as if it were a new one! Here is a bit of info for you, I took it for an oil change and they did not have the air filter in stock, so I went to Auto Zone to buy one later($18), and put it in myself, and the old one looked so bad like it had never been changed. I did get records of regular oil changes, but it doesnt say whether the air filter was also done. I am also going to put new Bridgestone tires on it, the tires look fine but they are 4 yrs old. It handles very nicely, and even my husband who was not obsessed with LD, thinks its great. I will probably be going off without him at times as he is still working. I am enclosing a pic, do you have any pics of yours?? Happy LDing Linda, and thanks for writing Mari'99 Lazy Daze/Blue 26.5 RBQuoteFrom: "linlinjc1" linlinvv@...> Reply-To: lifewithalazydazerv@yahoogroups.com To: lifewithalazydazerv@yahoogroups.com Subject: [Life With A Lazy Daze RV] Re: Finally did it! I have owned one for ten years, but now have decided to sell it. It is a 92 rear-bath 27 ft. with less than 10,000 miles. It has been truly cared for. Good luck with yours.[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Usually before 6 am I have taken the dog for a bike ride, and am started on yard work!2) I took it for an oil change and they did not have the air filter in stock, so I went to Auto Zone to buy one later($18), and put it in myself, and the old one looked so bad like it had never been changed. When we bought our previously enjoyed 2001 in April we did unscheduled maintenance just to be sure. We found the generator oil in bad shape, and filters were really dirty. So it is a good idea, if you are not sure, to just "do it!" 3) even my husband who was not obsessed with LD, thinks its great.Boy, does that ring a bell! My husband was not a big LD fan, simply because he had not researched them. Now that we have one, and he has gotten to know it inside and out, he is a firm believer in it's virtues! 4) do you have any pics of yours??Unfortunately, I live in the dark ages and don't have a dig cam, and don't have a lot of computer savvy to make other magic with pics happen. (Mostly don't want to take the time to learn) Last but not least, I have a sister near St. George. If I ever venture up her way can we have a cup of coffee (or an iced tea!) as I wiz through LV?Congrats again on the LD. I can identify with your excitement. Now go shopping for containers, etc. and enjoy!Linda (7:20 am and already been on a bike ride, and done two loads of wash!)Happy LDing Linda, and thanks for writing Mari'99 Lazy Daze/Blue 26.5 RB From: "linlinjc1" Reply-To: lifewithalazydazerv@yahoogroups.com To: lifewithalazydazerv@yahoogroups.com Subject: [Life With A Lazy Daze RV] Re: Finally did it!
