New bike rack question

I'm trying to decide on the type of bike rack to get.  I want to carry two bikes, one a women's style without straight cross bar.
I've looked at the Swagman 3 bike hitch model (64150) and it seems to be sturdy and easy to use.  I would probably need to buy a cross bar adaptor for the woman's bike.  I've also looked at ladder mount types but have not heard how they work.  Does anyone have experience with either?  I will be getting a 26.5 MB next month or so.

Do not get a ladder mount carrier.  It will bend your ladder from the weight and torque generated by the bike(s).  Been there and now use a sturdy receiver monted carrier.  Jack in Reno
