Yes, to all of the above!!  Sounds like a wonderful idea.  Actually, you talked about it a few months ago.  Glad to see bridge on the list of things to do.
How about adding birdwatching?  Hopefully that will be appealing to some.
Please add my name to the list.  My address should be above, if not it is "macpat2000 at aol dot com".  And let me know what I can do to help.
"Belle's" due date is sometime in November.  Have no idea whether it will be the first of the month or the last.

Pat (Mac) patiently awaiting November.  PS.  Did anyone see that 10 month trip to Mexico in the  Escapee news letter?  Gave me a severe case of palpatations!  Would love to do something like that, can't, but would love to.

Pat, a definite yes to birdwatching!  Glad to hear from you.  November is just around the corner and just in time for the holidays. I feel your excitement!  Where will you be coming from?  As I recall, Sarah Blackwood's delivery time is also in November.  Maybe some time around then would be a good time for our initial GTG.  Your address is noted.

Anyone else? Lorna, still in Enumclaw trying to coordinate connections with Ositech KOC, Earthlink, and the Mac -- encountering many frustrating problems (oopps, I mean "challenges"!

Hi Lorna and all the other November expectant parents! Yes, a GTG at that time sounds great.  I can hardly wait.  I live in No Cal, Cloverberg, err Cloverdale, that is.  About 30 miles above Santa Rosa.  Small town, but growing, unfortunately.  I just checked the list with the delivery times expected, and there are quite a few waiting for a Nov delivery.  Of course they are probably  from all over the US.  I was thinking about caravanning down.  Last time I was down there, I stayed at--------well, wouldn't you know I can't think of the name of the place where I stayed, but it was very nice!!!! Have the receipt in the van.  Lots of grass, a lake and it is close to Montclair.  But then why not in the parking lot at the Mothership??  I'll bet they would like that!!

Hope  you are conquering your "challenges".  Till later.

I'll tell you why Pat - it's not safe. That area of Pomona/Montclair is really a high crime area, and I'm not an easily spooked person.
Honestly. The Lazy Daze factory has had hoods just walk and drive by and shoot at stuff in their lot. No joke. So don't think about it. Ed and/or Steve would let you do it, but their advice about it not being safe is true.
There's a Wal*Mart north of I-10 on the edge of Upland. On Foothill, (maybe Baseline?) I think. There are 'no overnight parking' signs on the lot, but I checked with the manager, and it's OK. And safe. So when it gets nearer, I'll scratch my head for better directions than 'on the edge of Upland' so you'll have a safe place to over-night.

Looking forward to November - Sarah
