A tape recorder is an excellent idea and I will do that.  I remember in the early 80s, when I bought my first computer for the office, after it was installed and ready to go, I was paralyzed with fear to move on and actually try to use it!  That's how I feel with my brand new-to-me LD sitting proudly in my driveway.  I'm afraid to actually try to go anywhere with it! Hopefully, after I actually plug in the electrictiy, connect the water and sewer and turn everything on inside, I'll feel less afraid.  I think it's just that I've never actually done any of this before.  A new thrilling yet terrifying adventure begins.

Bring along a pocket tape recorder and get it all on tape so you won't miss anything in the excitement. Of course, if questions arise later, you can always rely on this group for answers.
And hey--now you can join the Northeast Lazy Daze owners group when we meet at Cooperstown, NY this fall! It's a great group, and a great way to get

I'm sure you will!  The worst part for me was learning how to handle sewage.
DON'T HOOK YOUR BLACK WATER (SEWAGE) TO A DUMP UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO EMPTY IT!  Let the tank fill at least two thirds before dumping so it will drain more completely.  (Been there, done that!)  As for hooking up water and electricity, it's just like plugging in any household appliance and water hose.  Get gutsy and enjoy!
