Ozone Water Filtration

I was speaking with a representative from Clearwater Technologies about an ozone purification system for the water tank on the LD.
Originally I had thought that ozone could be pumped into the tank from a flexible tube fed through the water fill line.  The rep told me that the flexible tube needs to be connected to a 1" square diffusion stone located inside the tank.  Does the LD water tank have an opening big enough to insert a 1" square stone?  Assuming the answer is no, it seems to me that installing an ozone system would be impractical.

The fill port should certainly allow this, though you might have to remove and reseal the service fill door assembly. Attaching some sort of fitting or access for the permanent tubing would require tank mods, though, unless there is an unused port on yours. You don't want a loose fit where water wil slosh out.
To verify fit, you will also need the thickness of the stone - across the diagonal it is 1.4", and that may be too big.
