Seeing as how technology has changed a lot since then does anyone know if this is still true? I would like to eleminate the thump that goes with bais ply tires. Any reccomendations? ThanksBruce
Tires Reply #1 – February 11, 2001, 09:39:50 pm Yahoo Message Number: 1978Our first Lazydaze was a 79 on a Dodge chassis, it had 8:25 x 16.5 bias ply tires & I put 8:75 x 16.5 radials on it. The clearance was fine in the fender wells & between the duals & it worked great. I think you need to check the wheels to make sure they are made for radials as the older ones weren't . I was lucky mine had the radial designation on them.
