"And furniture, would you say they are comparable? The flexsteel in the BF looked & felt very nice."

Just re-iterating a point here. Note that a Flexsteel couch is very limited - it's a one-size couch or a one-size bed. Lazy Daze furniture puts new meaning into the term flexible (pun intended). In our 22' front lounge, the couch can have the seat pulled out in almost infintite amounts to either provide more comfort or more room, as the current requirements may be. As a bed, it is almost continuously adjustable from a single to a large full. In maximum extension, it blocks the aisle and is very comfortable for a couple. Made up smaller, it is roomy for one adult and a child, and still leaves room for passage. Smaller yet, and it's fine for an adult, and the chairs on the other side are useable. This versatility is only possible with custom-made furniture, designed from the outset for the specific coach where it is used, and with the ingenious mind of a Lazy Daze engineer behind it.

The LD couch does sound versatile, but I don't understand how the cushions work.  How do you adjust the cushions for the different sizes that you describe?  Thanks - Tom

Ok, this is how it works. Go to the pictures and the "Steve's '83 22' FL" folder. Inside that checkout the pics:

Lazy Daze Couch - cutaway

The latter is a really ugly freehand sketch I just penned. This is an end-on view of the couch - if that were actually possible.
Both cushions and the bolster run the full length of the couch. The seat cushion slides out with a plywood platform and the front feet, riding on the wood fixed base. When made into the widest possible bed, the seat, back, and bolster cushions are all on the bottom, and the pivoting wood back support latches back to the wall, out of the way. The resulting bed is almost as large as the cabover, and the cushions are quite thick.

Hope this answers your question, but if the issue is still muddy, I'll try again.

having had a rear couch in our 22-foot multiplan, Steve's sketch is perfect. Just think of the horizontal portion being pulled to the right in the sketch and the other cushions layed down between the main cushion and the wall of the coach.

When the seat back panel is not latched back to the wall, there is room behind it for a couple of sleeping bags --rolled cross-wise so that they are still 6-feet long, but small enough in diameter to fit behind the panel. The panel latches in two positions, one swung agains the wall of the coach at the bottom, and one pulled out to support the back rest.

We used to travel with ours pulled out. The space under would hold wet suits, waders, kayak paddles (broken down into two parts), ...
