Help on Michelin selections.

Maybe I'll just hold off making a change for a while, then look at the 265s. My main concerns are safety, ride and noise. If its wet or rough, I'll slow it down or just park and watch the rain.

Back in the last century our 26.5 LD came with Firestone Steeltex tires. They had a moderately aggressive tread patern. They were decent tires but required several rotations during their lifetime.
They were IMO noisy on the road. Ride was ok. They were replaced with Michelin XPS. They are quiet and the ride was better. Handling was also better. They were never rotated and still "looked" good and wearing flat. After 40,000 miles, and 7 years I considered the Bridgestones (better price), but I went with another set of XPS Ribs. I am hoping to have another 7 years of no problems and quiet ride. (At 60 mph)  Tom.
