Driver leg room in 2001 26.5 MB January 29, 2001, 07:34:29 am Yahoo Message Number: 1776I know that this subject has been discussed, but I have not seen a definitive answer yet about the legroom for the driver on a 2001 26.5 MB. I'm 6'-1" and if my legs are too restricted they get cramped after a couple of hours. Also, my wife likes to recline the passenger seat for a nap. Does the dinette restrict the reclining of the passenger seat excessively?

You can go into almost any local RV dealership and try out the cockpit for size.Steve

I have a 34" inseam, so my legs are pretty long and I have plenty of room when seated in the driver's seat. The passenger seat does not recline very far so your wife may have to take her nap in the overhead bed. There is very little clearance for my feet between the seat and the engine cover when I try to get in or out of the driver's seat. Given a choice, I usually use the driver's door and walk around the outside of the coach to the side door. However, once in the seat, I have plenty of room and can drive for hours without fatigue.Ibelieve that some years ago LD increased the amount of travel that the driver's seat has to the way it currently is configured. So if you are looking for an older model the front leg room may be less.jack
