Leveling block photos posted
Yahoo Message Number: 19187
I have posted photos of my leveling ramps at: http://photos.yahoo.com/lw5315us Or http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/lw5315us/lst?.dir=/Leveling+ramps&.view=t

The plywood ramps measure 7" wide X 30 ½" long X 5 ¼" high. The older (darker color) of the two ramps weights 7 Lbs. The newer one weights 8 Lbs. The older ramp is 9 years old.  Its partner was destroyed in a gallant attempt to level the rear of my friend's converted school bus. It exceeded the design parameters. RIP.

The individual ramps pieces are Douglas fir 2"X 10"s.
They measure 9', 18" and 27" long. They have holes drilled through them to allow a 16P nail to be inserted, locking them together.

The ramp shown under the LD is one of the two home units.
It is made of 2"X10"s and is very heavy. A handle has been added for ease in moving it.
I add a separate piece under it, as shown to completely level it. I leave this piece out in rainy weather to increase the draining of water off the roof.
