Snow weight on Roof...

Question:  Anyone have any idea how much snow weight the roof of a 1998 26.5 MB can withstand?  Since we have received approximately 30" of snow in the last two days I am curious if anyone has had any problems with large amounts of snow deposited on their LD - thanks...
Thanks, Greg

Snow varies, but has a typical density of 0.12 g/cm3:

House design floor loadings are 20 lbs/ft2 or more:

I doubt that the LD roof loading design is much less, and your 30" would correspond to a loading of 18.7 lbs/ft (if I did the math right).

Maybe you could ask the factory if they have any information.  If anyone else has better knowledge, let us know.  It is an interesting question. (and unfortunately practical

Greg,

Throw another log on the fire for me.  Forget the adult beverages, however, I'm drinking wine.
