I'm interesting in buying a pre-owned 22-23 ft. Lazy Daze in Texas (or states bordering on the East -- I'm in Corpus Christi) for under $12,000.  Anyone have a charmer for me?

Thanks, Lyle

Good luck!
22-23.5 footers are rare as hen's teeth, and IF you can find one, they are usually gone in a day or two.  Trust me, within the past 3 months, I missed one in TX [guy decided to keep it], one in AZ [he sold it to someone locally], one in IN [it was sold before the add even hit the Internet], and I think there may have been one in FL.
You might be able to find one in AZ or CA, if you are willing to hop a plane and get there ASAP.

If you find one for under $12,000, it will have to be a real old-timer.
LD's hold their value really well.  Checking the internet rv sales site is how I found mine.

One other thing, if you find one, be prepared to put  up earnest money sit unseen.  They don't stay on the market very long.  I put up $1000 based soly on the description of the sellor.  Had I not done so, it would have been gone before I could get there.  In fact, the sellor got a call while I was there (right after the sale), and I was offered $1000 more than I paid for it if I would sell.  I didn't.
Also, be prepared to spend some money on any used vehicle, rv or car.  Even a well maintained vehicle will likely need some repairs soon after purchase, and an rv has lots more things that can go wrong than a car.
Good luck,
