Cant identify source of beeping/chirping sound - like a smoke alarm - but not.
Our 2019 31 IB rig has been in storage all year and we went to it today to clean up some stuff. While there I heard a loud beeping/chirping sound like a smoke alarm with a low battery. So I took the smoke alarm out to remove the batteries - but even after I did that the chirping kept happening - not coming from the smoke alarm - It was one loud chirp every 45 seconds or so. It sounded like it was coming from the ceiling air conditioning unit in the rig - but my husband and I could not find anything that would cause the chirping sound. We racked our (old, tired) brains but could not find the source of the chirping. Any ideas?

Did you check the propane (LP) alarm located near the floor???

Very good Steve. A 2019 is five years old, and the "replace me now" beep is on for the LP gas alarm. After this many years you'd think I had that down pat, but my alarm was beeping Tuesday morning, the 22nd. Yep, 5 years!  Amazon delivered a Pangea at 4:00AM the next morning before we left for the Halloween Caravan Club meeting. Didn't like the white, but it did fit in exactly the same hole. A red digital display reads out any propane or other flammable gas in PPM, even if it doesn't alarm. Green LED on the rest of the time.  My CO alarm on the ceiling is there, I didn't want another CO alarm at floor level. I guess a combined LP and CO would be ok.  I found out later that the Pangea $30 does come in brown.  https://www.amazon.com/hz/mobile/mission?p=c0t6K%2FwxaBhjZCk1w24HlaZ2eX%2Bcr09kLx99vXo%2Fx%2FObIma0r8u441k7xE6LP4J1JEifpkCCQ3P2MuRRCk5hXyDBAfgOsg29MKHsGFaYuMQrgRi%2BLtSq3dIdpAHbBx%2FFXeOlH%2FFWH9t3CMBnxtG1kIvyRIaecoKYoxmaVMh9O3C5fl%2FKuNszjzGXiSgRQbfvYbRVRuor2IkLTbHKUyA%2F2i%2FuvBkZXQgHXGpKaZgRaqtysl47BKj0EkFlutl%2F0bd9p7R9hoCLOpoLNSOQbNJ%2F9qRMkCNSw6MiZ9uZj5TApdg7mkliRGy9IodqYFTPi6%2F8Od46xo4Bx3f5eDCP7Ldrlc4oSretqiUtZfspXIuFkJQ0UetPQkd3AdxR5fKxV%2BqU2La1pFCJSEi6DmT8HZVVEmt3zrV6SfQblrF4Jwo3mmf096m%2Ffd7bWyLCXRgZT2gue%2BlBX9yEEPQ%3D&ref_=nb_sb_ss_di_ci_mcx_mi_ci-mcx-ksf-of-nv1_0&crid=157Z539P4D9AN
I don't know what the Pangea does when the 5 years is up. (it does shut off).  The MT brand in LD's blinks the red LED twice, then the green LED twice to signal 'end of life'. The beep can be silenced for one day, a few days before it won't mute.  I believe it is non functional though when it goes into EOL mode.
I don't know what shape or size or color would be appropriate for a 2019 LD.   RonB

Thanks for all the quick responses folks!
It must be the propane alarm - we will go check it out tomorrow. Love this group!

Could also be a carbon monoxide detector with expiring battery.

Thanks everyone - we removed the Propane detector and the chirping stopped - it was due for replacement - manufactured Nov 02, 2018. We will order one today. And thanks Andy for the CO/smoke detector heads up - we replaced the batteries in that as well - just for good keeping!
Happy trails all!

LP/CO detectors typically have a 5-7 year lifespan.  Smoke detectors a 7-10 year one.  When in doubt, swap it out.
