Leaking toilet water valve.
The other day I was cleaning the toilet and noticed when I partially depressed the flush foot pedal and water started draining from the plastic housing around the pedal shaft. Well, the only place the water could be coming from was the water valve at the back of the Dometic series 310 toilet. I went on YouTube to see how to remove and replace the valve which was VERY helpful. I first checked with our local RV parts business and they had a Dometic replacement valve for $75. WOW!!!  There was a number of manufacturers that sold the replacement valves on Amazon. The Dometic one listed was $29. I started checking the Amazon reviews on other listed valves and settled on:

Funmit 385311641 RV Toilet Water Valve Kit Replacement for Pedal flush Toilets Compatible with Dometic 300 310 320 Series | Includes Hose Clamp and Fasteners | Increased Freeze Resistance, 2 Packs  $18.39
.
They valves arrived yesterday and it took about 15 minutes to do the replacement this morning. I tried the flush pedal several times in different positions and there was no water leak. And I have a spare valve to put away.
This kept me busy while waiting for MILTON's arrival to our ranch. He is not welcome!! Villa Verde is safely tucked away in the shop for the duration of the storm. Fortunately our house is built like a fortress with metal storm shutters all around. Our backup propane generator can fully power all the buildings and RV campsite until the buried 1000-gal. propane tank goes empty. Oiur only concern is trees falling on any structures. Time will tell----

Mike, I had the same problem last year, although a very slow leak. I put down a wad of paper towels and ordered this valve Beech Lane Upgraded Water Valve Kit Replaces 385311641 for Dometic Toilets 300, 310, and 320, Increased Freeze Resistance, Long Valve Lifespan, Ultrasonic Sealing Safeguards Against Leaks (Natural) Amazon.com: Beech Lane Upgraded Water Valve Kit Replaces 385311641 for...

The leak is getting worse so I decided to replace the valve, but it is hiding somewhere in my rig and I can't find it.  So I ordered another and planned on the swap while I was here at the Great Lakes club get together.  I swore I packed it, but I can't find that one either(it's probably at home on the kitchen table). So when I find them, I'll have two. I YouTubed it and as you say, it looks pretty easy.
