Toilet Replacement
Greetings...been so long visiting here the forum forgot me...had to re-register!

My 2023 RB is in need of a new toilet, preferably one with a sprayer.  Does the group have any suggestions for an RV parts supplier?  Apparently mine is no longer made or doesn't come with a sprayer.  Amazon lists a "Seaflow" -- any experience with that brand?

Thanks for your help.

Your 2003 LD has a Sealand Traveler 511 toilet.

Like many RV items, Sealand is owned by Domestic.
Unless the porcelain base is broken, it should be rebuildable, all the parts are still available. Your model has a sprayer which
is controlled by the water valve.
Parts are available online, I suggest using only Sealand or Domestic parts, especially the ball valve seal.
Shop for Traveler Toilet Parts | Ardemco Inc.
Replacing the whole toilet may be cheaper than replacing parts since you will be paying for labor.

I think I have the same Sealand 511.    I've rebuilt it twice over the years - seal, flush ball and shaft, water valve.   Vacuum breaker and possible a sprayer head if needed.   Maybe a new toilet seat and it should be good for a long time.

Larry, Rich and jor,

After 21 years of full timing and mostly full timing, this will be my second toilet replacement, and a new Sealand is not in my current budget.  Unfortunately, the folks working this project would prefer to replace the whole thing, rather than rebuild it.  When Larry Wade retired, days of a rebuild went the way of the buggy whip!

Any other recommendations via Amazon, Dyers or Camping world for porcelain with a sprayer?

Thanks again,
Lorna

Lorna, my 1997 MB toilet needed work too.  It  always had a sprayer, but needed help, including internal and mounting seals.  I actually bought new seals ten years ago, but just kept babying it along.  Finally a couple winters ago I had an old RV repair guy (even older than me!) take it all apart and he cleaned it, replaced the seals, and it works perfectly now, which it never did since I bought the rig.  At first I thought it might be cheaper to iinstall a new fixture, but those old toilets are built to last!  The toilet itself is solid, but it's the fittings that need replaced.  It doesn't take a modern mechanic to fix it...  but Bring Vaseline!

Kristin, like mine, your LD has seen some rough "weather" and challenging miles!  Thanks for the vaseline reminder!
