I use a 'pretty good' siliconized acrylic for minor jobs. Re: Caulk question Reply #2 – April 09, 2024, 04:41:52 pm Hi,Those surface cracks are fairly common and don’t necessarily pose a water intrusion problem from what I understand. Our ‘15 LD RB has these on many seams of the aluminum skin. I had purchased some touch up paint from the factory a few years ago and never used it. Rather than use a sealant on your cracks, it may be advisable to clean the areas with acetone and paint the cracks with the like colored paint. Our rig is gray and white as well. So if I were to paint them, I would need both colors. I believe the white paint is the identical paint as the Ford body paint which should be noted inside the cab door jam.This cracking issue has been discussed in the past and it appears to be less of a leaking issue than originally thought. The side panels of the coach body are folded within themselves so the wood frame is safe from rot. That being said sealing those cracks would not be a horrible idea. Just be aware that as the rig goes down the road, there is considerable flex in the coach body and the cracks may reappear over time.Others here may have more to offer on this topic.
