Living synchronized with your partner
This will be a subject probably never mentioned before but can be a real issue while traveling in an RV with your long time partner. Hopefully no one will be offended by this discussion.
When two people (or more) live or work together over a long period they have the unintended ability to synchronize some but not necessarily all bodily functions. This can be hunger, sleep, and importantly the call of nature for the bathroom.  This can be a real issue when the call is quite strong when there is only one toilet available in the RV. I came across a solution that can work quite well for that emergency. On Amazon I found (and bought) a portable toilet/stool (see photos) that collapses to a small package and easily opens for use. At 19" diameter it is stable and I found it fits well  just inside the entry door. Yes, privacy is lacking but the alternative could be much worse. When not in use it easily fit on the closet floor.
While shopping for this in Amazon there were several different styles to choose from with different methods of locking open for use. The one I chose seemed to be the most secure system. Plastic disposal bags came with it and I found that medium kitchen trash bags also fit the seat. The used bag can be doubled bagged in a ziplock bag for disposal.  I'm not endorsing this item but just the concept of addressing the issue.

"...they have the unattended ability to..."

Okay, where's Joan Taylor when you need her??

Mike, did you perhaps mean to say "unintended"? Clarity counts!   :D  ;)

I just showed the collapsible commode photos to my wife. She had two comments:
1. I hope they have the entry door locked!
2. They have the first bath and a half Lazy Daze!🤣

Happy New Year!

If it’s collapsible what stops it collapsing at a the wrong time ? Murphy’s Law comes to mind.

There hundreds of locking tabs that secure the structure in place all at once. It’s very stable. Yes, the door is locked and shade closed.

It may be time to consider one of the larger DPs, the ones with 1-1/2 baths.
Here is a nice one. It has a laundry room too.

"It may be time to consider one of the larger DPs,..."

Factors I would consider;

#1 - Hire a driver for 'The Beast'.

#2 - Stay home where I have all the crappers I need!   ;)  8)

Greg, That looks like the perfect solution!  HAPPY NEW YEAR to you two.

Larry, Marathon Coach's Florida plant is 10 miles south of our ranch. I'll drive Villa Verde down there and see they would agree to an even trade. ;)  If so, they would get the best unit.  Actually, I think I will pass on that idea. Enjoy this New Year Larry.

Steve,  We're well covered for toilet facilities here at the ranch. Three bathrooms and two outhouses.

"Three bathrooms and two outhouses."

Mike

The threshold on that 1st one seems pretty high... I would hate to trip, no telling what might happen!   :o    :D

The threshold is high because the instillation was done sometime after the concrete floor was  installed. The toilet plumbing is in place above the concrete floor and below the outhouse floor.
