Water system diagram?
I looking for a water line diagram, does this exist for the 2000  mid bath?

Here is what happened:
I had the water pressure regulator set at around 50, hooked up to city inlet to flush the anti freeze out of the water lines.
Water would only come out of the shower facet and toilet.
Tried a couple of times, turning each faucet, hot and then the cold water on in the kitchen and bath sink, individually. Nothing.
Needed a helper and had one to monitor the pressure regulator so I ended up flushing most of the antifreeze out thru the shower faucet.
I have not had any issues in the past, this is a new situation for me.

The only thing notable was the valve on the fresh water tank was not completely closed. But I thought this was a separate system that goes thru the water pump. Would this affect the water pressure ability to purge out the air?

Currently with a filled fresh water tank and water pump on, water comes out of the shower faucet  with no issue and toilet when step in engage for a flush. Both kitchen and bathroom sink I get intermittent trickle, if any at all. The pump seems to be working, just sounds louder than normal. I do have a spare pump if needed.

Thought I would try again with the water regulator set at 50 this weekend.

Thanks for any advise, Kimberley

Maybe the faucet screens have debris in them?  Unscrew them and check the flow.  If it goes, it's the screen, if not, it's upstream.

High Kim. In addition to the faucet screens, the faucet valve insides have small holes. Even wide open they can clog with magnesium, calcium deposits or even sand from the tank.
The pump isn't bad, or the shower wouldn't work. Turning up the pressure on the regulator won't fix it and is a particularly bad idea. You can remove the inlet fittings to the valves by unscrewing them. See if you get full flow out of the hose into a bucket. You can remove the valves from the valve body  and soak them in a hard water build up dissolver.
The pump sounds louder because it is pumping into a blocked (plugged) line. RonB

Thanks Ron and Joel,
This makes sense to me. Perhaps when it was winterized with air pressure it dislodged some of the mineral build up.
I will report back, Thanks again, Kimberley

I was in the similar situation few weeks ago during dewintwrization .. water will not come out of kitchen sink and turn out to be a small piece of tissue or something stuck in the faucet stopping water flow. Uncrewing the faucet showed the problem right away ...

On mine, the stock faucet diffusers were very fine and would clog up regularly.  I replaced them with slightly coarser ones, and it has helped.

Regarding a water diagram, I don't believe LD used them, at least publicly.

That’s exactly want happened to us.  So I used compressed air at 50 psi after I removed the kitchen faucet handle and cartridge.   And I opened the bathroom faucet.  At any rate I think it cleared the check valve in the water connection.

It worked and for whatever reason, it never failed again.  Hope this helps.

If you don't already do this regularly then you might want to flush out your hot water heater.  There is a little plastic nozzle/tool thingy  you attach to the end of a garden hose and stick into the drain of the hot water heater.  If you don't already do this regularly you might be amazed with all the stuff that can come out with a flush.  All that stuff can get blown into the faucet/shower filters and clog them up if winterizing with air.

Thanks John, As I was falling asleep last night that came to mind that it has been 2 years since I cleaned the water heater. Kimberley

I might have posted these before. On a prior rig I was having trouble with water pressure. Turned out a brass switch was plugged with deposits from the water heater. Impossible to clean out. I bought another heater and cut open the old one to see what was going on. Yikes! I clean ours regularly now.

I finally got the bathroom and Kitchen faucet to work and wanted to report my findings.

First I flushed out the hot water heater with the rinse wand. Now this was surprising. The water was very murky and I dumped my five gallon bucket around 10 times. It is white and I could see silt like black sediment at the bottom. I kept flushing it until the water was clear. Put the plug back in and set up the city water pressure gauge at 40.

Faucet screens off.

I then went to the bathroom faucet and turned the cold on, than the hot. Water pressure was low.
Kitchen sink faucet would not even give me a dribble.

We still have the original faucets in our camper. Was easy to remove the kitchen faucet body. I could not see any obstruction, blow it out with air pressure and ran water thru it.

Screwed on the faucet body back on. Turned on the water connected to city water inlet and Success!

Opened the hot water heater valve to reset the air bubble.

I flushed the water system with bleach mixture recommend yearly. I do this every spring, but that murky water really made an impression.  I have not "lit" the hot water heater this year. I will now do this every first camping trip of the year.

Researching the vinegar flush for hot water heater maintenance.

Thank you everyone. Kimberley

Wanting to drain the hot water tank due to below freezing temperatures and very windy conditions coming on the last day of camping trip.

If you drain the hot water tank, is the water system still pressurized?

I would be using the fresh water tank/water pump for toilet and faucets.

Trying to get around having to drain the hot water tank in 20 degree wind chill and still camp with friends.

Will be winterizing next week, temperatures will return to above freezing within 24 hours.

I have it stored in an enclosed storage facility and will be draining the fresh water tank and empty tanks after camping trip, that night the low will be 26.

Thank you for your insight. Kimberley

Kimberly,
You can't drain the hot water tank and still use the fresh water pump (unless someone has installed a bypass aftermarket..LD's don't come with a bypass).  As soon as you turn on the pump it will refill the hot water tank.

Unless you're camping in extreme cold conditions, keeping the inside of your rig warm should be enough for one night of cold.  I and many others have camped in below freezing temperatures without problems.  Maybe open up cabinet doors where the pipes and tanks are located to facilitate heat getting to them.

Just do as you say and use the onboard water tank and not city water. You may want to turn on the water heater and leave it on for added insurance, but the one night I camped in 20° weather, I didn't do that and didn't have an issue.

Good luck

Hi Kimberly;  If you are still camping, just leave the water heater on.  The propane supply will keep it at the usual about 140 degrees. If you aren't going to use the hot water you could turn it on every few hours. I don't think 20 degrees will cool it off very fast. It is protected from wind gusts, and if you are keeping the inside of the coach warm, then it should be ok. The little things freeze first. Water piping in the floor, water fill fixtures on the outside. Particularly the gray tank gate valve. The black tank gate valve has (um..) salty 'antifreeze' already in it and will resist freezing a bit longer.  You can keep a gallon of pink (non toxic) RV antifreeze handy and pour a bit in the shower trap. When that finally gets to the holding tanks it might protect it then a little.  The other traps in the sinks should be ok while the insides are at livable temperatures.   RonB
