The trends are interesting--especially the reported 40% drop in new RV shipments. I'd take the used-RV prices mentioned in the article with a grain of salt, though, since these are all wholesale auction prices... and a vehicle sold at a wholesale auction, as I understand it, is basically one that nobody wanted--unsold inventory from bankrupt dealerships and the like. (Correct me if I'm wrong about that.)

We recently drove down the length of I-5 from the Canadian border to Los Angeles and passed dozens of RV sales lots, all fully stuffed with new units.
It was very different from a similar trip two years ago when the lots were half full.
This fall and winter will probably be good times to buy a new or used RV.

All good news to me, the pandemic RV buyers are deciding it’s not their cup of tea.

Means it will be easier to just drop into most campgrounds.  Just have to worry about Banff & Glacier on the way home then.
