Ladeze of Lazy Daze Faceook Group
As many of you know I spent the winter in my RV in Puerto Penasco, Sonora, Mexico and just returned home Wednesday.  I'm comfortable traveling alone, but sometimes it is nice to meet people along the way.  A once-a-year meetup with the "Ladeze" didn't always fit into my schedule due to other commitments and the distance.   I really want to travel this summer and it would be nice to meet others on the road.

Therefore, I created a Facebook Group so that the current and prior Lazy Daze women could communicate (hopefully) more frequently and possible have mini gatherings in certain areas.  I did check to see if there was any other Facebook group of this kind and didn't see any.  Since I've traveled to Puerto Penasco many times, I might possibly put together a gathering there for interested folks in the future.

I hope that I didn't "step on any toes" by creating this group, as it seems like the annual gatherings are no longer being planned.  Please make sure that you answer the questions so I can approve your member if you decide to join.  Here's the link:  Ladeze of Lazy Daze

Some of us Ladeze are old school and don’t do Facebook. It would be nice if up coming events or outings be posted on this forum as well.

Thanks 😊

I suppose I wanted to have more interaction between women and to create an opportunity for more informal meetings.  If there's a "larger" caravan/outing I'll certainly post the details, I was looking for a better way to get to know women who own Lazy Daze RV's .   Therefore, a private Facebook group can also sponsor group chats and provide for more impromptu interactions.

A facebook group for Lazy Daze Ladeze was established in 2015; most recent entries were made following our get together last year, September, 2022:

Laurelee said she contacted you but did not hear back -- maybe your eddress has changed and you didn't receive her message?

For the sake of consistency, may I suggest that you continue with the *established* Facebook page?  Marie Potter is the "Admin," and her contact info can be found on the current FB page.  She will probably have to send you an invitation.

Marie's email is:  mpotter523 at gmail dot com.  You can also contact Laurelee at lscholes10 at gmail dot com

OK - before I created the group I "did" search Facebook and came up with nothing.  Most Facebook groups have an ongoing "interactive" dialogue going on.  Posting to a group "once a year" after a gathering is not something I'm currently looking for - I want to make friends, have relationships, and hopefully meet up and interact.  There are only 30 members in the group you're referring to and nothing has been posted within the last month or so...

I'm not quite sure of your intention, and "yes" Laurelee did send me an e-mail saying that she's "retired" from organizing annual meetings and offered to send me the complete e-mail list.  My focus was to create a forum where women could interact frequently, support one another, and hopefully meet up in smaller groups in certain geographic areas.  I would like to plan an annual meeting also, once I poll people and get a feeling for where they could/would like to meet.  I was traveling in Puerto Penasco, Sonora, Mexico from mid-December until a week ago Monday and I'm busy looking after my town-home in my absence.

Thank you for your suggestion, but I've created a "new" Facebook group in order to better open the lines of communication and support.  The new group I've created already has TWICE the subscribers than the one I didn't know about.  I realize that some people have issues with change, and want to live in the past as things were.  However, my intention is to meet and interact with women who own Lazy Daze RV's, and I felt limited by the "once a year" gathering.

Therefore, the issue of "consistency" is a moot point and one I'm not going to discuss.  The Facebook page "Ladeze of Lazy Daze" has been created and is thriving.   Everyone who is a "Ladeze of Lazy Daze" is more that welcome to join the Facebook group and I'll do my best to cross post to the forum any annual meetings.
