Un-Winterizing Excitement March 22, 2023, 05:23:40 pm After our last trip in December 2022, we winterized in preparation of freezing weather in January. And for most of February I wasn’t doing well enough to travel. But March 2023! In preparation of our next trip leaving this Sunday, we brought our LD back to life today. Now for those who don’t need to winterize, let me share the feeling of elation when everything in the rig is working after a long slumber. And the catalytic converter with a cat strap hasn’t walked off. The simple joys of RVing. 5 Likes

While the space is heated and covered, I’ll go through the process anyway, as power outages are a thing.But the storage price can’t be beat (free) so I’m willing experience the joy of winterization. 3 Likes

IMO, it's the best time to travel.Yep, it’s my brother in law’s hanger house, it’s empty in the winter, so it works out.Long drive or a short flight. :-)I LOVE Yellowstone, this year will be my 14th visit on the way back from Alaska, so having the rig closer is a win rather than driving the rig out each year.I might bring it back to California in four plus years, but for the next three years, it’s a better home base.

It's about a 65 watt load, and if I remember correctly you have about 5 kw available. 75 hours of heater power. Amazon.com: Facon 12V Heater Pad for RV Holding Tank, W 12" x L 18" with...
