LD Sightings on 101
Saw two LD’s heading northbound on 101 a little after noontime today, about 20 minutes apart. One was a newer green MB or TK towing a small white car just south of King City. The other was a newer gray TK just north of Bradley. Anyone here?

"... just south of King City."

So what took you to the vicinity of King City?

Are you aware of the RV attractions there? I'm referring to San Lorenzo County Park and their Agricultural Museum, along with a very nice RV Park, very close by the Salinas River. It's part of the Monterey County Park System and if you hold a CA Disabled Vet card you get in for free.   ;D

Oh, and I must not forget the Wild Horse Cafe on 101 about 3 miles south... some good road food there, liked by the many truckers transiting the area. Plenty of parking.

Hi Steve,
I was returning from visiting one son in Santa Rosa and on my way to Atascadero to visit another (not camping).  I am aware of San Lorenzo Park. Haven’t camped there but have driven through in the past. Looks like a nice place to stay.
I did stop and gas up at the Valero at Wildhorse but haven’t tried the eatery. Will have to give it a try next time I travel that way!

"...one son in Santa Rosa."

Greg

Guessing here but you must have traversed my neck of the woods on the eastern flank of Concord, nearly under Mt. Diablo. My family has a long history in the Santa Rosa/Sonoma area. Sonoma is the hometown of my late wife and they all reside there in the local cemetery. I once did a detailed genealogy on the Vallejo family and donated it to the Sonoma Historical Society.  8)

Hi again, Steve. I actually traversed the 580/880/101, through Oakland, from Santa Rosa to Atascadero but was in your neck of the woods on Sunday for a Superbowl party in the Blackhawk community just east of Danville.  Back in Tehachapi now.
